Christ Church Primary SW9 is the lead school in Lambeth for Natural Thinkers. Natural Thinkers is a Lambeth initiative to reconnect children with nature. We have commissioned this documentary to showcase the work we do in education settings.
We are extremely lucky to have 3 female ducks at our school. The ducks started egg production at the beginning of term and have been laying regularly ever since. Each year group has been learning how to care for the ducks and how to cook with the eggs they collect each day. Thanks to Jamie’s kitchen garden project, we have had plenty of recipes to keep us busy.
We have decided that it is time to sell the eggs to help with the feed and bedding costs. After the Easter break you will be able to order your fresh duck eggs from the office for £1 a box. Below are the winning designs you will see on the boxes. Thank you for your support.
Year 3 spent the morning in the forest area making puppets, dens, whittling necklaces, making outfits and eating pop corn from the fire. They also completed a team building exercise, walking the plank.
