We have adopted our newest member of the CCPSW9 family from ‘Support Adoption for Pets’. The company provide financial support to a large number of animal welfare charities and local re-homing organisations throughout London and the UK.
Born on the 29-05-14 …(Name, T.B.D)…. had been bullied by his cage mates and had become depressed. He was moved into his own cage which enabled him to relax, recover and enjoy the additional human attention. Have a look, he has already mastered the high 5!!!
Tally charts and still life drawing, were the tools used by reception to capture the first wild flowers of spring.
We have finally finished the hide in our forest school area. Inside you will find bug catchers, viewing containers, magnifying glasses for those tiny bugs and a whole range of identification cards and leaflets. Thank you to the Art Academy children for making this happen.
The Bug signs are in place and being used by all classes visiting the garden.
We spotted our first frog swimming happily around in our roof garden pond.
How many Froglets can you spot
We have built a biodegradable home for insects, using old wooden pallets and tubing. To finish off, we will be filling the gaps with sticks, straw, leaves, pine cones etc to encourage the local bugs to move in.
Can you help?
All we need to do is link the correct stages of development, with the adult bug!
